Meilleur Ouvrier de France – Le Negresco à Nice

"I am delighted and proud to be President of the Trophée Cuisine, La Cuillère d'Or. It is an honor for me, and at the same time a duty, to support passionate women in this universe, and to show the younger ones that they have a place in this profession.

This contest allows each one to express and demonstrate their knowledge and know-how, to a jury but also to themselves.

In effect, a contest allows us to measure our capacities, improve ourselves and gain confidence. It is for me a moment of meeting, of transmission, of exchanges, that I love to share with each person "

Christelle BRUA

"It is an honor for me to be president of this new edition of La Cuillère d'Or. How to say no? How to say no to this call, to the enthusiasm and energy displayed by Marie Sauce, to make this beautiful trofhy possible, and share this moment of conviviality? How can we not be stimulated and excited by this impulse and this desire? Thank you, dear Marie, for allowing me to share once again with you this unique moment of generosity.

"The woman, a man like the others?" ... Yes, and perhaps a little more than that, when we must show such tenacity and audacity, seem obstinate (stubborn?), and demonstrate sometimes, will and abnegation. These harsh words are often the everyday, for women in the kitchens. However, there is no place to complain more than others, except to verify that efectively our posts are hard won.

What a joy to participate in this contest, to have time to consider meetings, and eventual new friendships.

Because this contest, perhaps more than any other, is a forum of beautiful meetings, human encounters, both fraternal and convivial.

The meeting with the candidates in the first place, confronted with themselves (those who have gone through contests can understand it)!

And for this, men or women, you have to have courage!

The meeting with the jury afterwards, the need to respond to their expectations, to say "Present!", and the will to give everything.

These competitors, these colleagues, will want to give the best of themselves, with the advantage of being women. Yes, the advantage of our sensitivity, of our refinement, of our famous sixth sense ...

Thank you for allowing me to be once again at your side for the 5th Edition of La Cuillère d'Or.

Thanks to these women to be, first of all ... cooks like the others ... and a little more.

Today I am delighted to be the president of this 5th Edition of La Cuillère d'Or, and through it to honor our common passion, these talents in feminine "

"2010 - 2020 ... .10 years already! 10 years that I follow closely the development of La Cuillère d'Or, the only international initiative for women!

What a progression...

A trofhy, several trophies since its origin in France, now also international. In the previous editions I have been able to confirm the happiness of the participants, the professionalism, the emotion, the goodwill of the jury.

All this come true thanks to the drive and work of Marie Sauce. I can only encourage the president to continue her actions, because I know very well what the organization of competitions means! There are still very few women in the kitchens, recognized for their work and their talent, in a world that even today we can describe as misogynist, unfortunately. I am delighted to be the Patron of the France team and the International Final that looks very promising. Yes, 10 years certainly, but let's not forget that it's only the 5th edition ... what evolution!

La Cuillère d'Or is nowadays a landmark in the universe of competitions "

“Women are in the center of the world, and also in the hearts of men. From always, and in each epoch, the woman has been the inspirer, the muse of a multitude of arts. Gastronomy is one of them in its own right.

Women have been relegated for a long time to their domestic kitchens where it is certainly they who structure the taste and vocations of future generations.

They do not need the shadow of a man to shine, they simply need their stove. The feminine gender works by the passion of our profession, of difficult access for too long, and in which however they know how to create a different environment of seriousness and respect within our kitchens.

I am therefore very proud to be the Honorary President of this international competition of La Cuillère d'Or. My tribute to the women of small fairy hands that allowed me to be a chef "
